Changing situations demandAcademia - Industry collaboration. Industry Academia Conclave (IAC) 2023 is first of its kind being held at KSNUAHS. It is an essential tool for improving bondage with the industry for sustaining agriculture. The Programme is driven by NAHEP-IDP-KSNUAHS.
IAC 2023 provides opportunities for innovators to exhibit their products and it is a prestigious platform for industries to meet future agriculture ambassadors and end- users.
The objective of the Conclave is to bring together experts from the industry and R&D organizations to discuss prime issues concerning industry and academia based on current agriculture needs.
We seek to discover avenues of probable fusion pertaining to research, development, and consultancy, as well as find credible solutions for long standing issues by bridging corporate sector with academia.

The theme would be deliberated upon in the conclave featuring talks and presentations by experts from various niche industries ranging from seed to processing sectors and the academia comprising of the eminent faculty from KSNUAHS. There will also be an interactive panel discussion session wherein a panel comprising of the faculty members, the industry personnel and alumni would deliberate on strengthening collaboration between industry and the academia.
Keladi Shivappa Nayaka University of Agricultural and Horticultural Science, established in 2012, has a vision to transform itself into a light house of knowledge. The head quarters of the KSNUAHS is located at Iruvakki, a green campus located in the midst of western ghats, a United Nation's world heritage centre and truly a hot spot of bio-diversity. KSNUAHS is the first integrated University in the State of Karnataka, which has Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry Sciences under its purview. It has an operational jurisdiction in seven districts viz., Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu, Davanagere and Chitradurga. The University has four educational institutions viz., College of Agriculture, Shivamogga College of Horticulure, Mudigere, College of Forestry, Ponnampet, College of Horticulture, Hiriyur and two Diploma Colleges of Agriculture at Kathalagere and Brahmavara. KSNUAHS has one main Agricultural and Horticultural Research Station at Iruvakki, four Zonal Agricultural and Horticultural Research Stations (ZAHRS), and four ICAR KVKs.
Iruvakki is in Sagar Taluk, Shivamogga District of Karnataka, located about 47 km towards west from the district headquarters , 25 km from Sagara and 50 km on the highway between Bengaluru and Honnavar (NH 13/206) from Shivamogga. The campus is on the Shivamogga- Baindur National Highway 206. The nearest Railway station is Anandapura and nearest airport is Shivamogga (60 Km) . Shivamogga campus is connected to the state capital, Bengaluru by road (NH 206 and NH 13). Nearest airport is Bangalore 270 km. The campus is surrounded by many tourist places like Jog Falls, Sringeri, Agumbe, Lion Safari, Bhadra and Kuduremukha Reserve Forests.
